Through years of closely working with older adults, conducting research activities, and delving into pertinent literature, we know that as structured components of life, such as a regular job or active family responsibilities, begin to wane, many older adults find themselves searching for new sources of meaning to sustain their dignity and prevent feelings of societal exclusion.
